I get where you’re coming from, but I’ve actually seen some smart devices work wonders—when they’re set up right. The trick is, most folks don’t have the time or patience to fine-tune all those settings. I’ve had to reset a few “learning” thermostats myself after they started heating empty rooms. Do you think these companies are designing for techies instead of regular homeowners?
